A lot of actors have been on at least two, but the only person I can think of who's been on three is Stephen Nichols (Days, GH, Y&R).

Who else?

Peggy McCay (Love of Life, The Young Marrieds, DAYS)

I remember watching Peggy McCay on General Hospital also (early 70s maybe?). She played a character named Iris who was much different than Caroline Brady! So that makes at least 4 for her.

Soap hopping used to common in the old days and I know of quite a few actors/actresses who have been on at least 3. Just off the top of my head:

John Aniston-Love of Life; Search for Tomorrow; Days

Jane Elliott-General Hospital; Days; Guiding Light

Justin Deas-Ryan's Hope; As the World Turns; Guiding Light

Joel Crothers-Dark Shadows; Secret Storm; Somerset; Edge of Night

Peter Simon-Search for Tomorrow; As the World Turns; Guiding Light

Joe Gallison-Days; Another World; Return to Peyton Place

Rosemary Prinz-As the World Turns; All My Children; How to Survive a Marriage

Beverlee McKinsey-Another World; Texas; Guiding Light

I'm sure there are several more.

Three? Not in even close.
Yea, I know three wouldn't be the number to beat, but this would be a really short and slow thread if we only focused on the title, since the main question is a factual one, with only one answer, so there's a bonus question to keep things more interactive.

ETA, unless you're saying SN has been on way more than three soaps...

HJBJDJ, thanks, never heard of that one.
